Smell like burn...

is any one smell something burn when you dont use your AC?...smell from the engine, i test drove the demo, after i got out form the car, i smell that. And i brought the new one has the same smell if i turn off the AC....Is there anyone have the same problem?? Should i go to dealer and check that out??

its just a protective coating the put on the engine etc to keep it tip top whilst its in transit and sitting on the lot takes about 600-1000 miles to go away depending on what type of driving you do....

Our CX-7 and Speed3 both had it. It took like 2 months for my Speed3 to stop. No worries though, it is normal.

Yep normal. My cx-7 and the roomate's Speed 6 both had that smell. It's annoying, but it goes away fairly quickly.

Yep! Ours took around 2000 miles before it totally disappeared.
