I wanted to share my experience with this PCM re-flash, my build date is 11/06.

PROS:

Throttle response is better
Turbo lag is almost gone
Tranny shifts much better (auto mode)
Tranny shifts faster in manual mode (no more 1-2sec lag between shifts)
Tranny respond more quickly to the throttle
The engine feels smother while acelarating

CONS:

Engine Warning Light came on a few hours later (Actuator hose pop off) FIXED
RPM on idle seems lower and makes the engine vibrate (Was because of the actuator hose) FIXED

I really don't know where or what is the Shutter Valve or Actuator Valve they replaced.
But it have something to do with the BOV.

I have run my CX-7 with the intake top 2" open so I can hear the turbo sound and BOV in the past, and before the re-flash and shutter valve replacement, you could hear the BOV leaking air like crazy while acelerating, it only shut up when you WOT. Yesterday I opened the intake top again and discover that the BOV doesn't leak air like before. And when it PHHHSSSST it sound it less than before.

I don't know if it have to do with the PCM re-flash or shutter valve. But it resolved the BOV leak I had.

The #1 thing to do is find out what they did to cause the CEL. They did something not right. Then I think you will have a firm idea on what the flashes did. Classic can even verify the latest were even done.

I did an appointment on bigmazda again for tomorrow just to let them know about the problem they know what they did, so hopefully is not a big issue, but it will be the last time I will take it there.

I reset the ECU and I can make the power windows work correctly I follow it all the steps mentioned on this page. I will let them work with that also.
