Advance Keyless Entry

Finaly after waiting 6 weeks since i ordered this car it finaly came yesterday ! :D

I have the GT w/ the keyless entry and in the manual (page 3-20) (usa), it says that you can change the option where you don't need the remote or the button on the door handle to lock the car, that this option when activated will lock the doors in 3 seconds when remote is out of range.

The manual says that this option can only be set by the Dealer, Is this true? Does someone know how to do this without going through the Dealer??? :confused:

I had mine activated at the dealer during my first oil change. It's an awesome feature :)

yup, it can only be activated at the dealer and the reason they do that is because the setting is not ideal/safe for everyone. I left mine to the factory defaults and was originally thinking about having it switched, but after the frist couple weeks i have come to prefer the control of the little black buttons.
