I just purchased a new GTCX7 and I am stoked. I live in Salt Lake City snow country and this winter has been nothing but snow covered roads. The CX7 handles the snow very well. My only concern is the blind spot. Any suggestions. Do those little circular stick on mirrors work?

They work well, I've used them on other cars. But never rely solely on it, I still shoulder check.

Maybe it is because I am tall or that I have driven panel vans and pickups with large campers on the back but I do not see any blind spots on the CX7.

Except when backing up a small kid directly behind cannot be seen. The only solution here is a back up camera being installed.

Make sure you adjust your side mirrors correctly... ie.. to view the side quarter areas up to where your peripheral vision takes over when looking ahead. Not to view what is behind you as your center mirror already does this.

But ALWAYS turn your head... Never just trust mirrors....

The life you save may be mine...

Yup, stick on ones work, use rubbing alcohol to remove oil residue first.

The blind spot happens with people of a certain height.

Those little mirrors worked great on my S40, but I don't need them on the CX-7.

If you can see any part of your vehicle in your side mirrors, you have NOT adjusted your mirrors correctly.

Take a look at this:

All that being said, I do have to have the CX-7 mirrors out almost all the way for me to achieve no blind spot. And thus it is possible that the mirrors aren't able to move to where you need them. But my guess is that if you can't eliminate your blindspot totally you can make it so small that it will be unlikely to cause too much trouble. Or get those little stickon mirrors.
