Hi,

I have found a pair of 22" wheels for the 7.

With research, to ensure it fits etc - I've gatherered the following

Rim - (dish) 22"
width - 9.5"
PCD - 5/114 (as in 114.3)
offset - 30 or 35 (the factory can make other offsets on request, ie other
numbers than above)

riding with "35" profile rubber - shouldnt be a problem

---------

I just want to gather, what would be the best offset to take in this situation, the 30 or 35 or another number ?? and why?

all opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks all

Not sure about the offset. I am concerned about the excess weight of the 22" wheel. It can be like adding concrete blocks to your drive train. My 20's are lighter than stock,so I am ok.

Check out post #5 for offset tips:

9.5" width is pretty big. I assume most 22" wheels don't come in anything much smaller than 9" width. But 20x8.5 is pushing it in terms of making the wheel fit in the fender.

If you like the look of your wheels sticking out of the fender, then it should be fine.

I was told that 22" are doable, but will require modifications to the fenders.

Hey Mikomi, I'm rolling 22's but you need 30 rubber not 35's dude. It'll put out your speedo reading by around 7% as the circumference is larger than the the stock 18's which is what the speedo has been calibrated to. No mods to fenders needed.
