Hi all. Just drove my CX7 home late last week...I have the bose system and enjoy it alot. I absolutely love the car and am anxious to take it on a road trip once the snow clears.

I've had the sirius satellite for some time now, and would like to use it in the CX7...I notice the System has a SAT button and am wondering if I am able to connect my sirius directly to the stereo rather than tuning to an fm frequency.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Unfortunatly no. You will have to purchase the sirius module from mazda and have them install it in order to use the sat button and have information displayed on your screen. You could of course use an FM modulator and your existing sirius radio. I am of course assuming that you have a sirius sportster or something similar.

I don't really mind using the FM modulator, but thought with all that "technology" sitting within my arms reach, it would be nice to have it hooked up directly.

Either way, I can still get the satellite sound and I am happy with that.

Thanks,

Peter
