Hi all

Feel silly to ask this, but I remember one of the salesman on a test drive making a big point about how there is a power socket in the luggage compartment. Didn’t take notice because at the time I had way more important things to worry about.

Looked for it today and I can’t find it. Looked in the manual but there is no reference to a third socket. So I thought before I give up completely I’d post the query here just in case I’m missing something obvious. Anyone know of a power socket back there?

Thanks.

On the CX-7, we only have the regular cigarette lighter outputs, one near the gearstick and the other in the central storage compartment between the front seats. Murano's here get 110V (Japan voltage) power sockets here but CX7's don't. However, you can buy power plug adaptors/converters - one end plugs into the cigarette lighter and the other end has the regular domestic power socket. Apparently they can convert/produce enough juice for laptops etc. though have never tried myself.

Thanks guys, I can now rest easy that my eyes do not need testing ;)

Looks I’ll be running a long cord form the front socket to the 12V cooler in the back.

It exists, but on CX-9. Do you correctly remember which car you drove? :)

Hehe...pretty sure it was a 7. Wasn’t drinking that day.

Besides, we don’t have the CX-9 in Australia yet.
