Nope, pretty easy. Just need to take off the intercooler ,which is 3 bolts and 2 hose clamps. Then the plugs are right there.

has anyone seen/felt any kind of difference with different plugs???

i mean considering our car is direct injection AND turbo i think it might help...but i dont wanna waste money if it wont

and i didnt know it was right under the intercooler...thats cool...ive been wantin to go tighten up everything anyway...and possibly get the intercooler hoses off of street unit

Hoses are not worth the $. I got em. they prevent expansion, yes. But would I spend more than the $50 I did to get them again? Nope. Mazda3forums.com has a for sale section to get em used.

From what I read on the pulstars, is the speed 3's did not run well with them. But try em out and let us know!

Do you have any idea if new plugs would be worth it???

Either from experience with your cx7 or your speed3??

im REALLY curious now

i have 80k on my rig so it'll be due for new plugs soon. those +4 iridium plugs look like they'll be better. every little bit helps in the long run.

I will stick with OEM spark plugs. I think pulsar plugs are gimmicks. Every few years some enterprising group comes out with a miracle spark plug and make awesome claims. I have yet to see an independent test support those claims. If another plug was so superior then manufactures would use them. However, it is your money and engine. JMO. Ed

ditto on the pulse plugs being a gimmick. these bosch plugs look to be better then oem iridium plugs +4 reasons why they would be better...lol

Spark plugs DO NOT add horsepower despite advertising claims. A spark is a spark. Change your plugs when they are worn out. You have top of the line iridium plugs from the factory.

The Bosch plugs with the 4 Gd electrodes look OK but, I question whether the gas charge might be partially hid initially. I had wonderfully luck with the Bosch Super (copper core std plug) and the Platinum with the single Gd. Some have reported that the 2X & 4X do not do well in some engines. I suppose it has to do the the combustion chamber design and the fuel swirl when injected. Let us know what you find out if you decide to use the Bosch plugs. What manufacture make the OEM plugs for the CX7 and the plug number? Ed

I'd just use whatever came with the vehicle. I've noticed using different brands than what the vehicle came with tends to not work as well for some reason.
