I bought the air for my wife's CX-7 thinking she would never start modding. Well, she did. Now we have a Cold Air Intake after a couple months of having the panel installed. Have original box too, but alas, no stickers.
The filter has been on for about 2,000 miles. So it has 998,000 miles left on it's warranty.
How about $35 paypal shipped USPS Priority to a confirmed address?

Not sure if it helps, but this will help fuel economy, according to K&N, which I have had in every car i have ever owned. This also allowes the engine to breathe better, meaning more power, as well.

What does it go for new?

I paid close to $50 for mine plus shipping. This is essentially new, almost a million miles left on it.

How's the cold air intake working out? Did you install it yourself? Are there other intake mods available (airflow sensor, throttle body, that sort of thing).

The CAi is working well, we hear the turbo spooling up a lot more now, as well as the blow off valve. We like it a lot. I helped install it by taking off the wheel. My wife (yes, my wife) wanted to install it, as it is her car. I helped when needed but she did it, and we completed it in about an hour.
I have a new Top Mount Intercooler, which is a lot bigger than stock. helps the engine breathe better, as more air comes in, and since the core is so big, cools it off a lot more. Fits fine under the plastic cover, but we are looking for a new carbon fiber hood that has intercooler ducting in it.
My wife did the installation on this with my help as needed. the how-to is right here. http://www.mcx7.com/showthread.php?t=386
Both the intake and the TMIC can be purchased at www.streetunit.com and search for CX-7. Her car is in the pics.
