How come the information display does not show the Climate Control Display - mine only shows (from left to middle) time > CD > elapse time and nothing after that......

That only works with GT CX-7's.

It's unsightly to me.

i have the gt and i love that feature... pretty good to know after ive already gotten dressed and went out and started the car to know what the actual outside temp is... i also want windspeed and direction, moon phases, and humidity levels. anyone hack that yet? no? oh, guess ill just look at the newspaper then.

You could add a compass/temp auto dimming mirror...

The generic ebay mirrors suck. They are susceptible to vibrations. So the view out the back is fuzzy when driving (reminds of driving a motorcycle). The only dimming mirror I would recommend is an OEM quality one; ie, Gentex. There is an ebay vendor that is great for this. He sells generic mirrors and Gentex ones. A Gentex compass mirror is 129 and a Compass/Temp is 179. FYI the Mazda accessory mirror is identical (wiring and all) to the universal Gentex mirrors that you can get off ebay. The only difference is that the universal mirrors are substantially cheaper.

There ought to be a mod somewhere for ac temp display even if it does not show the outside temp - at least display the fan speed or AC setting.
