View Full Version : 2007 CX-7 FWD tech specs

Hi everybody,
i bougth a cx-7 fwd in 2007, and my company recently transfer me to Switzerland. Of course, i take the car with me, and here in switzerland i'm trying to get the swiss plates.

The problem:
the problem is simple... the car must be reviewed prior to get the plates, the car is ok, but i'm unable to find some values the swiss authorities demand.

I first tried to contact a dealer, and they gave me a paper with all the specs required by swiss authorities, but this paper is not valid, because is binded to the VIN sold here (JMZER8936...) and not for USA (JM3ER2938.........), i really think that the values are the same, but they don't think so.... I also called to Mazda USA and Mazda Switzerland without results, and i'm trying to find this values in brouchers, but no broucher has all this four specs:

- V-max (maximun velocity, yes, really, is not in the manual).
- Leistung (power HP/Performance, and yes, is not in the owner manual too).
- Dachlast (max roof payload).
- Geräush (Noise Level)

The values i have for the Europe version are:

210 km/h
191 @ 5500
50 kg (100 lb)
GABA 76,0 dB/A

i think, the values are the same for the for the USA version, but i didn't find all values in any similar document. i find some documents with some of the values, but none with the noise level.

Please, help....

The european version has a manual transmission, standard AWD, larger turbo and a different interior

Thanks a lot, anybody knows where to find find this values? i'll buy the workshop or service manual if needed i have a citation the october 20th and need supporting documentation...

Superstretch is quoting interior noise levels. Do the Swiss want interior or exhaust noise levels?

I don't know really, i think are the exhaust ones. I have the numbers for the swiss one and in this sections is writen:

Geräusch dB/A n/min
GABA 76,0 4125 y (14478)

it's in the emission section, so, i think that are the exhaust ones.
