Hi guys.....

I have a question regarding about aftemarket performance parts.
I know that in USA, CPE or Cork Sport (correct me if i am wrong) already made aftermarket performance parts. Would i be able to install them on right hand drive CX7? (I am talking about their CAI, CATBACK Mid pipe etc) I am asking this because I had a problem installing a USDM Greddy twin turbo kit on my Right hand drive G35. They said the GReddy twin turbo kit that they sell in usa is for Left Hand drive G35.

Thank you....

Sorry if this been discussed before :)

Stuff like the intake and exhaust should be fine. The problem between LHD and RHD comes with items like the exhaust manifolds as they're designed around the steering linkage and such.

It all depends upon whether or not what you are installing is near the area occupied by the steering gear and column on both sides.

If it does ie some intakes, dual turbo setups etc it may have an affect on whether or not it will fit.

The CAI will fit, iirc.

Thank you guys....
So I wouldn't have a problem if i buy USDM CAI and catback right?
Nice :) ........ I don't want to buy AUTOEXE cat back and CAI..... it's more expensive even with shipping cost difference from Japan and USA

Corksports stuff should fit, as should CP-E's.

Downpipe will give you the most gains, than the midpipe or catback(no gains besides sound, even a loss of peak HP shown with catbacks). The Divorced wastegate improves things too.

Where is downpipe located? is it close to the steering rack?

It's where the turbo exhaust housing is, it bolts up to it, and leads down to the rest of the exhaust.

According to you guys.... which one is better? CPE or Corksport?

CP-E doesn't make one yet, but the divorced wastegate design is better than the bellmouth design.

Read about it here.

If you want a cheap CAI, there is a used one for sale in the for sale section here. I would take a look.
