OK,

I am looking to get a vendor to take care of the decals, and I am planning to work with a shop to take care of sales moving forward.

That said, I am thinking of new ideas. T-Shirts, caps, pint glasses, and other stuff.

What all do you think you would want?

Oh, and if we do T-Shirts, we will probably do a design contest for what the back ould have on it. The front would have the forum logo on it.

All three are good ideas. Hard to say which one I'd want the most... the glass for sure, if the hat was real cool I'd take it over a shirt. I'd want all three though.

I don't know if I would rock a shirt but a glass seems like a nice novelty piece.

I voted for Pint Glass.

Some ideas:

- Beer bottle opener
- Stubby Holder
- Key chain

Mostly Alcohol related...:D

Pretty inexpensive to produce.

These are stubby holders. A "stubby" in Australia is a certain size bottle of beer.

You guys might call them somethin else in the US, or maybe never seen them at all, i dunno.

They basically keep your bottles/cans chilled when drinking and are nifty promo gifts.

I'm diggin' the mouse pad and calendar idea. For the keychain idea, you could make it in the shape of the CX-7, but have the website name on it. Another idea could be a cell phone strap or lanyard, though I dunno how popular those'd be.

vote here for a stubby holder, or a cool hat.. not just a boring mcx7 logo, but stuff over the brim , and like a mazda logo on the back etc..

The minute we use a Mazda logo is the minute we break copyright info... :(

Keep em coming. I should have a new decal vendor up this week. Looking into a low-cost place to get this stuff made.

Mazda has a good strong grassroots program in the USA. That being said, anyone know what their policy is on people using their logo?

They gave the legal ability to sue the pants off of me, the forum owner, and whoever makes the products. I looked into it already...

We had the same problem on my FZ forum site. Because the sites banner listed as the Yamaha FZ1 Owners Association and they were forced to remove all mention of Yamaha from the site. Seems odd as you have thousands of customers supporting your product and you hit them.

So yes I would leave all mention of Mazda or its logos off any items...
