How to install rearview mirror autodim

Does anyone knows how to install the autodim rearview mirror? I got a great deal on Ebay for it ($60) :D I know i need the intalation kit. but how do I install it. Does the kit includes istructions? please help:(

I also got one off of E-Bay althought I did not get such a good deal. It did come with the installation kit and instructions.

Interesting tidbit, the auto dimming mirror will never dim for you because the rear window tint is so dark. Would take a searchlight ponted right at the rear window for it to work.

But I have the compass and homelink and thats OK.

Greg, I'm curious as to why you came up with the opinion that the autodim mirror doesn't work due to tinting.

Hate to disagree with you, but it works quite well. You can demonstrate it, by turning off the autodim feature. Headlights coming from the rear are quite blinding. Press the power button again, and you can observe an immediate response. :p

also works for me even if the back windows are tinted... Headlights appear as light bluish tinged as compared to bright yellows :)
