i was worried about brake to wheel gap I HATE BIG WHEELS and lil brakes.... u look stupid and ignint about real nice cars...
result.. i think i may have been able to handle 21" w out looking too stupid till i upgrade brakes.
overall I love my new wheels (wraped in pirellis)

I kinda wonder how mazda designs its brakes differently? They stop shorter than an Evo IX which has brembos, 112 vs 115ft. Plus theres the extra 500+ lbs.

So your brake "upgrade" might give worse performance.

hmmm i did not know this and that is very interesting. now that I decided to stay with the 19"s I will keep the brakes for sure. thanks for the info!
