I just camb back from a recent road trip (only about 600 miles). When I came back the next morining I got a check engine light as soon as I started up. I live less than a mile from the dealership, so I went right in. I was called later in the day and told that an actuator was too close to something that generated a lot of heat (hmm, doesn't everything under the hood get hot?) and it caused the CEL to come on. Apparently it was a known problem because Mazda shipped a new actuator and brackets that moved it away from the "heat source" and this cured the problem. Anyone else run into this?
Thanks- Rick

Yes. This is the IRMC valve issue that many have been discussing on this board. My wife had the problem on her CX, got the new valve and hasn't had an issue since.

I've had this happen a few times.
A service bullitin was sent out to replace the gas cap with a new one with a better seal.No problem since(fingers crossed).
