Have had reflash done to take care of lag and shift problem. One thing I have noticed is the shifting between 5th and 6th. It will shift down real easy from 6th to 5th. Set the cruise and it will stay in 6th the majority of the time.

What is strange is when you hit the cruise cancel button on the steering wheel it will immediately drop to 5th even on level road. Wait a few seconds and will go back to 6th. To me it should stay in 6th if I cancel cruise.

Also when taking off (in drive mode) and going up through the gears, once it gets to 4th it will stay in 4th way long.

My wife drives it most of the time and tells me what is going on. So I don't know what the rpms are when she is running in 4th but she has told me at times she will be running anywhere between 50 to 70 sometimes in 4th.

I know she can use manual mode to eliminate some of the shift problem but it should work just as well in drive mode.

Anyone else experiencing this and is there a newer flash to take care of this problem, or is this normal. I haven't called the dealer yet to let them know what it is doing. I am going in for an oil change next weekend and let them know then.

7800 miles so far and still love it.
Temps warmer and now getting around 19 to 20 mpg.

Yes, I have a long stretch in town between either stop lights or stop signs and the speed limit is either 30mph or 20mph in a school zone. Both roads are fairly flat and hardly any curves. It just hangs in 4th. Manually, I can and do shift into 5th and sometimes even 6th gear yet when I go back to "Auto" it nearly always drops a gear.:confused:

I have had the reprogramming done on 03/13 which helped the smoothness. I really never noticed the turbo lag as I usually drive with a light foot.
