I stumbled across these results. Now that we a re a two Mazda family, it kind of reflects an increase in the popularity of the brand.

Mazda North American Operations said Tuesday its March U.S. sales surged on a jump in demand for its Mazda3 and Mazda6 models.

Mazda sold a total of 37,742 vehicles in March, up 45 percent from 25,514 in March 2006.

Adjusted for one additional selling day in the recent month compared with March 2006, Mazda sales rose 43 percent.

Car sales rose 45 percent to 29,903 units from 20,587 in the year-ago month, while truck sales jumped 59 percent to 7,839 from 4,927.

Sales of the Mazda3 increased 93 percent to 15,606, while sales of the Mazda6 rose 33 percent to 9,624.

So far this year, Mazda sales are up 18 percent to 79,074 vehicles from 67,271. Adjusted for two additional sales days this year, Mazda sales are up 14 percent.

I would like to say this forum, and our members account for the increase in sales. Time to petition for some sort of commission!

They are good cars and they are appealing to a market that most cars in this price range are missing. Having only owned European cars in the past I do like the Mazdas we also have a 6. But I still think they could do better...

They could beat all of them, the new 6 is probably the most stylish thing on the market, when it does hit the market, and the 7 and 9 shows everyone what they're capable of, they need to bring in customers first, they don't need a big disaster like the one that happened in the 90's when they released all those new cars and didn't have a dime for advertising, they we're still recovering from that in 05, they are out of that now.

If people wanted to pay 30K(starting) for an RDX/X3 murderer, Mazda would surely bring it to us.
They're capable of it too, See the MS3, which owns the subcompact market, and the MS6 which was a great value, just no one really wanted it.
