I am looking to install either a grill guard or sport bar. Has anyone done it yet? Any pictures?

Thx

have not seen one, myself. I would love to see a real one made though. Lots of flimsy ones on the road on other cars. See lots of Explorers withthe cheapo ones, bent up and all. We want one that is like the front of a freight train. :D

I haven't seen one, but I haven't been looking. I think that it would look out of place on the CX-7. But I'd love to see an actual pic before I make any final judgement.

This company sells them for CX-7's. There aren't any pictures of them on CX-7's, but plenty on Muranos, Lexus', etc...

ok, who in NY is gonna be their test mule? I am going to email and ask for a pic of it on a CX-7. Might have one, not on the site.

Looked around today and saw a few different bars (no, not the ones you can drink at) found a picture of a bull bar on the CX7. I have to upload it to a server first before I can post a link to it. Will probably get to it tomorow.

Broadfeet.com is located near the last exit in Queens (before going into Manhattan) on the Long Island Expressway. About 20 minutes from where I live.

But first I have to take my CX7 to the dealer's body shop next Monday (OMG its only 10 days old) to have the front bumper repainted. Upon receipt it was damaged (no charge). Had the same problem when I got my RX-8. After that I will consider installing it. Yes- NYC is hell on bumpers.

The dealer was shocked when I traded in the 8 that that there was no damage to the bumpers. It was no easy task to keep it that way.

Not really a fan. But to each his own. If you like it don't let anyone change your mind.

Sort of agree with the fish comment. I thought it looked like a Kissing Gourami.:o

I'll look for other pictures of other styles.

I was looking at the way these things attach on my friends lexus. From the looks of it, if you get in an accident it will make the car's frame twist. I would think fixing the frame would be costlier than replacing the bumper.
Anyone know how these things do in a crash?

Bumper bars like dumb on vehicles that are not meant to go offroad. But to each his own.
