Does it have 1, if so when does it need to be changed

I belive that the car has a timing chain in it which usually does not need to be replaced.....

Yes, it has timing chains, which are automatically adjusted by the VVT or Variable valve timing. It automatically opens the valves more when you're really in the throttle, or rolls them the other way for economy. It's constantly sensing throttle position and changing the valves about every 1/8 second. Something like that... lol

Yes, your right, the engine has a timing chain and there is no need to do any type of maintenence with that setup : )

good to know. this is my wifes car. I drive a '97 Audi, and it's notorious for early timing belt failure. I change it every 60k miles.
