I dont think you need to change the hood. From looking at the picture, it has an addition towards the edge of the hood.

I've noticed that sort of "lining" on the front edge of the hood.. Is it to cover the groove left by the big Mazda emblem? If not then changing the bumper necesitate the change of hood as well.. :(

Yes. I believe it covers the mazda emblem. Then again, it would be nice to see a carbon fiber hood with ventilation for the TMIC.
