Looks like we loose out again
CX-7 due for launch on December 1, specs are a bit sketchy at the moment, but no DVD Nav, no Reverse Camera & gone are the decent wheels. At least we have cool fog lights & indicator mirrors :)
I guess we'll just have to wait for final specs & pricing.

Yes, indeed...
If I was to get one, I would go for white but we are getting white pearl not a solid color. Not good... One scratch and painters hide !
Not so concerned about Nav as mobile units are much better (I have had BMW and Mercedes systems but now have a Tomtom) but the rear camera omission isn't good...
I wonder about the economy and how big these actually will be...

Local deal says there is a cool after market reverse camera that replaces the rear view mirror ... nice :) Just waiting to get the details.
If I go for one it will be Galaxy Grey or Radiant Ebony .. with Sand GT interior. Roll on December 1

There are a heap of aftermarket cameras out there. Check eBay. Here is one:

I think that would be the way to go...

I emailed Mazda Australia about the Reverse Parking Camera, their repsonse was quite encouraging:
"Our accessories development department has advised that before we consider adding this accessory to our range, it needs a lengthy development period as there are many safety issues to consider. If all goes to plan, we hope to have one possibly early next year, but are unable to confirm date at this stage as it is still in its early development stages.
The only option we recommend at this point is to purchase our reverse parking sensor accessory."
So I'll wait & see what happens, then get one fitted if they are released. Mazda's customer service is a million times better than Holden. By all accounts I should get to test drive one mid next week ....
Yea I was told when I bought a Mazda 6 4 years ago that a sat nav system was under development. They still havent got one yet. So be prepared to wait because thats the same yarn I was told.
