I just had a Class 2.5 Curt hitch installed on Saturday and am really pleased with it. The crossmember is hidden behind the rear fascia and only the receiver tube sticks out from below it. They also make a wiring harness for the CX7 that doesn't require you to use the power converter module, which a lot of trailer places were saying was necessary (an additional $125 to buy and install).
I listened to it idle after they installed it and didn't hear any exhaust rattle and the guys that installed it said it went on pretty easily. I got the whole set-up installed for less than $250.
I got everything done locally at Truck Accessories Unlimited, but they have a website www.truckoem.com if anyone is interested in the Curt Hitch.
