Took in a couple of weeks ago and had the DVD Nav Screen replaced. Was having a problem with touch screen buttons on display. Example: touch the #6 CD and #5 would play. They checked to see if it was a centering problem with the screen and that didn't fix it. So the replaced the whole nav system. Works great again. Only had to wait for 2 days for them to get the new parts in.
We love the CX-7 but we have definitly been having our share of 1st production year issues but would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a new SUV/CUV. ZOOM-ZOOM:)

That's great that Mazda sprung for a whole new Nav system for your CX-7, but alas, it was one of the reasons that I didn't opt for the Tech Pckg on my CX-7...too many electronics possibilities that might go wrong in a 1st year SUV that was new, from the ground up, like ours are. Hell, I didn't even go for AWD because of its complexities and weight, and who needs it in California anyway?;) I do love my CX-7, but I do wish it were a bit less thirsty at the gas pump, and I'm really disappointed that they still don't have a "real" iPod integration kit for the CX-7, with or without Navigation. It just boggles my mind how the Mazda engineers, who were so forward thinking with the design engine and suspension systems, could blow such a simple thing that all good cars have these days: a true-blue iPod hookup, not just something that allows you to have "Playlists" etc.:(
I just can't seem to forgive Mazda for that mistake!

2 days is fantastic for parts. We waited 6 weeks last September for our CX-7's rear camera to come in. It toasted 24 hours after the final instpection was performed by the dealer. You have no idea how much you need it, until it is broken. Totally see why people run over kids with SUV's, too big of a blind spot.
