FYI The CX-7 is governor limited to about 118 mph (my estimate according to the speedo). I wonder if anyone (like CP-E) will be able to disable this limiter?

Either your speedo is off (do you have aftermarket wheels/tires) or your ECU is programmed different.

The speedo in your car is very rearely that accurate the faster you go the larger the variance. I have two Mazda's and a portable sat nav system on the sat Nav you can view your speed which I do and both cars have a variance of around 3 mph at 70 the only constent is the sat nav system.
