If the guy has spent over $60K those wheels must have been bloody expensive.......
I like it!

Hi Clay,
How are you doing by the way? You got those wheels on yet?
I too can't see how that could be 65k. The car itself is around 50k on the road for Luxury model, custom exhaust couldn't be too much...as you know, i too was originally looking at 22" rims, and the cost i was quoted was between 4-5k.
So im thinking those wheels must of been very expensive...looks good though.
Hey, did you check out my car pics yet? link below. view them as slideshow...

Hi Overgard,
I checked out your photos, they look great. Those wheels really set of the car..
As for mine, i am still searching. I put my order in for a set of Simmons RV wheels (just been released) After two weeks of waiting Simmons called my wheel retailer informing them they wouldn't get the spokes to clear the brakes. Very disapointing as they were the only wheels I really liked. I am still searching for a 265/35/22 tyre with a 103 load rating. I have been told that there is a random asian tyre manu. who do make them but i still yet to see the evidence.
As for the $60K+, I agree.....Those wheels would have been expensive but not much to justify his grand total.

He/She may have spent 65k, but will never get that money back.
I can see the wheels and tyres being up to 5k.
Exhaust 2k-3k.
Car with all options on road at 52k+.
Total say 60k......not sure about the other 5k ????

Thats got to be the best looking CX-7 I've seen so far,
Dont know where the 65k came from but the 50k sounds like a fair price to pay as it is..........
The only thing I would be adding to that car would be the tow bar which means I wold loose the rear scuff plate....
I'm almost tempted to call......
I've bought a demo car from QLD before and the only assle would be getting a blue slip for it and the costs involved.....

There must be an exchange rate thing going on or those wheels must be made of solid gold...
Nice but other than the wheels nada...

I was talking with the owner the other day, nice guy, tried to score his number plates, no joy:(
Anyway mine turns up on Thursday this week, black, have the 20" Momo's ready to bolt on.

Hi Butts,
Did he mention much about the wheels (i.e brand, cost or where he got them from)?
I have never seen them before, they look great and I assume they cost a bomb.

I just got a chance to revisit the site, and I gotta ask...the front and rear bumpers have a guard on the bottom.
Where did they get purchased? I have a scuff in my bumper I want to cover, and these are perfect! Are they custom made, or are they part of the laundry list of cooler things you have down under, which we did not get in the states?

The front and rear guards can be purchased direct from Mazda Aust, have a look online.

interesting......
I put my deposit down on a set of Simmons RV series wheels (20 inch) They called my wheel retailer a week later saying they couldn't get the spokes to clear the brakes and that they weren't willing to fidle with the design, hence no wheels:mad:
Good luck with yours, they will look awsome fitted.

Picture attached, not happy, needs more machine time.

Hi butts,
Do you have a side shot of the car so we can see the wheels more clearly?
